Fatal New Year’s Eve Fire at Swiss Ski Resort

SWITZERLAND : The Alpine community of Crans-Montana is in mourning following a catastrophic fire at Le Constellation bar that claimed multiple lives in the early hours of January 1, 2026. The tragedy has cast a dark shadow over one of Switzerland’s most vibrant tourist seasons.

Crans-Montana, located two hours east of Geneva, is a cornerstone of Swiss tourism, attracting over 3 million visitors annually.
