Ralph Lauren Unveils Winter White Kits for Team USA’s Tenth Olympic Outing

NEW YORK : The moment athletes have waited for has arrived: Ralph Lauren has unveiled the official attire for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams competing at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan Cortina. This marks the tenth time the iconic American brand will serve as the official outfitter, a partnership that athletes consistently describe as a highlight of their Olympic experience.

“Every time we get the kit, it’s maybe the most exciting part of the Olympic experience, pulling on the Opening Ceremony outfit,” said Evan Bates, three-time Olympian and half of the reigning world champion ice dancing duo.

The uniform designed for the Opening Ceremony walk-out at Milan’s San Siro Stadium leans heavily on a sleek, European-inspired aesthetic. The central pieces include winter-white wool coats detailed with Team USA engraved wooden toggles, worn over a classic American flag turtleneck sweater and wool trousers.

Since beginning their modern partnership with Team USA at the 2008 Beijing Games, Ralph Lauren has cultivated a deep bond with the country’s top athletes. David Lauren, Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, reflected on the importance of understanding the competitors.

“You get to work with the greatest athletes in the world… You really have to understand what the spirit and the energy is gonna be around each game. And understanding the athletes, understanding what makes them feel comfortable when they’re walking out on a global stage,” he noted.

For many athletes, the kit is a substantial part of their journey. Olympic speed skating champion Erin Jackson, a competitor at both the 2018 and 2022 Games, provided a glimpse into the scale of the uniform distribution. Jackson estimates she received “three duffel bags worth of gear” at the Beijing Games, underscoring the comprehensive nature of the outfitting process that extends far beyond the ceremonial uniform.

The new collection is available for purchase by the public beginning December 4, allowing fans to share in the classic American style that, as Jackson puts it, “just fits with Team USA so nicely.”
