SYLHET :  The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium witnessed a bowling masterclass today as the Rangpur Riders pace battery proved too hot to handle for the Chattogram Royals.

In a dream start for any bowling side, Nahid Rana removed Rossington in the opening over. The early breakthrough silenced the Chattogram dugout and set a disciplined tone for the rest of the innings.

Mohammad Naim was the lone warrior for the Royals. His 20-ball 39 included several boundaries that briefly revived the run rate, but his departure signaled a collapse.

Mustafizur Rahman showed why he remains a premier T20 bowler. His two wickets were timed perfectly to snuff out any budding partnerships.

Faheem’s Fifer: The star of the show was undoubtedly Faheem Ashraf. His five wickets were a result of relentless pressure and tactical bowling, leaving the Royals with a total that looks well below par.

Chattogram Royals: 102 all out (17.5 overs)

Top Scorer: Mohammad Naim (39 off 20)

Top Bowler: Faheem Ashraf (5 wickets)

The Riders now need 103 runs to clinch victory in what has been a dominant display of seam bowling.
