RIYADH : While Al Nassr continues to shatter team records in the Saudi Pro League, an intriguing internal battle is brewing for the league’s individual honors. Following Al Nassr’s 3-0 win over Al Okhdood, teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix now find themselves tied at the top of the scoring charts.

Cristiano Ronaldo proved once again that age is just a number, netting his 11th and 12th goals of the campaign. His second goal of the night—a cheeky backheel in first-half stoppage time—is already being hailed as a contender for goal of the season. Ronaldo was denied a hat-trick in the 65th minute after a VAR review ruled his third effort offside, but his dominance remained the focal point of the match.

Not to be outdone, Portuguese star João Félix struck in the dying seconds of the game to ensure he remains level with Ronaldo. Both forwards now sit on 12 goals apiece, creating a friendly but fierce competition within the squad that is driving Al Nassr toward a potential undefeated season.

The synergy between the two Portuguese stars has been the hallmark of Jorge Jesus’ tactical setup. By integrating the veteran experience of Ronaldo with the creative flair of Félix, Al Nassr has created an offensive juggernaut that has now produced 30 points from a possible 30.

As Al Nassr prepares for the next round of fixtures, the eyes of the football world will be on this elite duo to see who will blink first in the race for the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot.
