Notice issued by Acting Registrar Professor Dr. Md. Sheikh Gias Uddin.
The JnUCSU elections are seen as a critical milestone for student representation on campus. To avoid the risk of outside interference or unauthorized gatherings, the university has mandated that all general students leave the campus early.
“To ensure the smooth conduct of the polls and maintain discipline, all students have been instructed to leave the campus,” the official notice stated.
While the campus remains closed to the general student body starting Monday evening, specific instructions regarding voting access for Tuesday are expected to be enforced at the gates. Law enforcement and university proctorial teams will be on high alert to ensure that only eligible voters and election officials enter the premises on polling day.
The Hall Students’ Union elections will run concurrently with the central union polls, marking a comprehensive day of student democracy for the institution.
