Delta Goodrem Unveils Massive Guest List for 2025 Christmas Special

I spent two days helping out on the set of Christmas with Delta 2025.

SYDNEY : Production has officially wrapped on Christmas With Delta, the highly anticipated 2025 holiday special hosted by Australian superstar Delta Goodrem. Insider reports from the set reveal a production of unprecedented scale, featuring a cross-genre lineup of global hitmakers, Broadway stars, and local legends.

The dance looked so fun I had immediate FOMO.

The headline act for the special is the world-renowned band 5 Seconds of Summer. Sources on set describe a breathtaking “Winter Wonderland” segment, featuring glossy white tiling and towering Christmas trees, where the band performed alongside Goodrem.

The international flair continues with Grammy-winner Jordin Sparks and soul legend Gregory Porter, both of whom traveled to join Goodrem for the festive celebration.

I knew I recognised Roger Bart (left) from somewhere, but at first I wasn’t sure where.

The 2025 special appears to be leaning into pop-culture nostalgia and theatrical flair:

Host and TV personality Sophie Monk was spotted on set for a special Mean Girls-inspired performance.

The cast of Back to the Future The Musical, including Tony-winner Roger Bart, will bring a Broadway-level production value to the broadcast.

Homegrown talent including Amy Shark, Pete Murray, and Cody Simpson all filmed segments for the special, with crew members noting Simpson’s particularly “charming” presence on set.

Cody Simpson was as great sport on set, agreeing to an elf costume with no hesitation.

In a nod to traditional holiday hosting, celebrity chef Luke Mangan made an appearance to prepare festive prawn cocktails for the live audience. The special will also feature a powerful performance by a 30-person-strong kids’ choir, a staple of Goodrem’s holiday productions.

Pete Murray joined Goodrem for an emotional performance.

Filmed across multiple soundstages in October, the special involved a massive logistical effort. Those close to the production noted Goodrem’s hands-on approach, with the singer reportedly taking time to personally thank the junior production staff for their efforts during the intensive two-day shoot.

Christmas With Delta is expected to air in December 2025, continuing Goodrem’s tradition of delivering the premiere holiday event for Australian television.
